Never have I been so poorly treated and disrespected by a venue. Do yourself a big favour and avoid at all costs. Poor staff and plenty of better wineries in the area.

Truly warming staff and great quality wines make of Pizzini one of the best cellar door experiences in any wine region!

Signed up for the curing and salting course. First off half the morning was spent learning how to carve up the carcass, which part was what (though some were obvious) and what each part was best for. I reckoned eating so I went to the top of the class. And so it was, trimming, slicing, mincing, seasoning, squeezing, pumping. All the while Katrina was prepping a roast lunch, and what a lunch it was. Pork crackling, roast carrots n pumpkin, spuds (1cm cubes) herbs, spices and lots of TLC. And there was no shortage of food - a few went back for seconds and still plenty left over. I'm going back to try the other courses. If you don't do anything else this year, do this. Next time tho' I'll be staying at the winery - they have B&B accommodation smack bang in the middle of the casks.
